Are you constantly digging in your purse for a little piece of paper to make a note? Or do you find a crumpled phone number at the bottom of your purse that you've been searching for, for a month?
One great way to eliminate this frustration is to carry a small blank book in your purse. I prefer the ones with the elastic band that keeps it closed. I take notes on the various pages, then transfer the information later to my phone, directory, calendar, or whatever you use. When the information is stored in its final spot or the task is complete, I tear out the page, leaving the book "current" and effective as it avoids "hunting down" details. When the book is empty, I get a new one and there are some really cute ones out there!
Along these lines, I insert an envelope into my purse every couple of months to carry receipts. I date the outside with the start date and eventually add the ending date. In other words, when the envelope gets bulky, I write the end date, store it in a drawer, and get a fresh envelope. You can even buy sturdy plastic envelopes. I make a special notation on the outside of an envelope if it includes the receipt of a large purchase. For example, the June envelope might say "Lee's watch." This makes finding your receipts a breeze and keeps you from losing them.
What ideas do YOU have for keeping your life organized?

I love those little plastic envelope style organizers. They have tabs with the alphabet on them. I put all receipts, discount cards and coupons in alphabetical order by the name of the store. That way when I am in line at Target I just flip to the "T" tab and pull out the $5 coupon that I got in the mail. It's been so helpful!
