Height Chart

Once, when we moved to one of our homes, I remember saying to David, "That kitchen wallpaper has got to go!" Because I always planned to take that paper down, we began a fun height chart right on the wallpaper. It wasn't simply a growth chart of our children, it recorded the heights of all of our friends and family. Anyone who came over for dinner or just stopped by, they got charted on the wall.

Over time, the lines extended to include the names of everyone of the same height. It grew and became very large and actually sentimental. Believe it or not, we lived in that house for 11 years and never did change the wallpaper!
