Have you ever felt depleted as a mother? Exhausted, as if you just couldn't give any more? Certainly we all have. We're heading into the season that can be especially taxing on a mother.

The Bible says in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep".

Another version says it this way, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep."

One version says He never stops giving; He even gives to us while we are sleeping. The other version says, He even gives us our sleep. The Lord gives to us generously and constantly. Yet He is never depleted. Consider how He gives to you and what He gives to you generously and constantly. Give Him heartfelt thanks!
