For those rainy spring days...

Make lots of projects!!!

  • Always have lots of art supplies:  old pans, poster board, paints, etc. so you are always prepared when creativity strikes!  Let the kids make messes and then teach them how to clean up completely.  An old muffin tin makes a perfect pan for paints.  You can leave it full of watercolors or tempera paints.  They will just dry out and be ready for next time.  Simply add water and they are ready to go again! They don't even need to be covered.
  • Be prepared: some teenage girls go through a tie-dying and/or candle-making phase.
  • Frame several of your favorite pieces of their artwork and hang them in the house!
