Having trouble wiping sticky faces and fingers? This is one of our favorite family cleanup solutions that we have done for years and years.

You're not going to believe this, but I have a rag that is over 30 years old. Yes, it's raggedy and frayed! It is affectionately named, "Mr. Sticky".

Mr. Sticky has faithfully served our family for two generations now. How could we ever dismiss him? This rag has never been used for anything else, and he is stored in a special place. He comes out when it's time to cleanup sticky fingers and faces.

FIrst, he takes a warm water bath, and then drapes over Grandma's hand like a puppet. He asks the youngster if he may help him cleanup. The kids always laugh because Mr. Sticky has a funny voice, and he gets very excited to taste the remaining morsels he finds on little cheeks and chins. He makes funny comments and thanks the child for saving him a little taste of his favorite things.

In the last years, Mr. Sticky has taken a wife! She is a pretty, pink, fluffy cloth named Mrs. Freshandfluffy. It's good that she's around because sometimes Mr. Sticky is in the laundry.

Anyhow, you get the idea. These characters make cleanup a fun time!
