Dave & Betsy Corning

Dave and Betsy Corning have devoted their lives to the dual cause of discipleship and family life. Their calling to ministry began in their college years where they received discipleship training through the Navigators Ministry. The mission of the Navigators, "To Know Christ and Make Him Known" is to this day passionately lived out in their own lives and ministry.

Dave is a former teacher and coach. He has worked in the insurance industry for the past 30 years, which has allowed him to devote extensive time to ministry. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of church leadership, elder training, and discipleship.  Dave also serves as Director for Entrusted Ministries.

Betsy is a registered Occupational Therapist and is the Founder of Entrusted Ministries. She is the author of Entrusted with a Child's Heart, a comprehensive parenting and family curriculum, which teaches principles of God-honoring family life.

Entrusted with a Child's Heart was first shared with the Moms' ministry at their home church in 1999 and has since been distributed across the country and around the world. This curriculum is currently being translated into several languages.

A new format of Entrusted with a Child's Heart was released in 2009, for small group or individual use. Recently, Betsy had the opportunity to record several radio broadcasts with Nancy Leigh DeMoss of Revive our Hearts, which will air sometime in 2011.

Together, Dave and Betsy have a broad range of experience in both teaching and counseling and share a passion for building the Body of Christ, family by family. They are the parents of three grown children, the grandparents of six, all of whom reside in the Chicagoland area.
